Meredith has been teaching dance for over 20 years in a variety of capacities and styles, including contemporary, ballet, jazz, and modern. She received the prestigious Willam F. Christensen ballet scholarship at the University of Utah and trained in the U of U's ballet performance program, a top-2 college ballet program in the nation at that time. Meredith danced and choreographed professionally during and after her U of U training. Meredith also trained at Ballet West Academy, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and Clytie Adams School of Ballet as a child. In addition to chairing the Dance Department at Davis High and directing the DHS Dance Co. since 2021, Meredith is the artistic director and president of a non-profit organization, Davis Performing Arts Collective, which seeks to bring professional-quality and accessible performing arts opportunities to the community.
